Parsons House Cypress is a thriving assisted living community seeking a dynamic individual to lead our programs as Life Enrichment Director. This position may be part time or full time depending on the candidate chosen (The final schedule will be mutually agreed upon in advance and will average somewhere between 24 - 40 hours per week). We are looking for an energetic, dependable person who enjoys helping our residents engage in life both inside and outside our community. Experience working with seniors is preferred. Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead programming that will encourage participation, engagement and interaction.
• Programs may include but are not limited to wellness, social, intellectual, crafts and spiritual activities for seniors with: physical limitations, dementia and active lifestyles.
• Supervise Activity Assistants to carry out the department goals and agenda.
• Some driving may be required.

What we require:

• At least 2 years experience in a senior living community (assisted living or nursing home)
• Must be able to clear background check, TB test and drug screening.
• Compassion and flexibility a must!
