Human Resources Business Partner
The Visiting Nurse Association of Texas Senior HR Business Partner must have complete knowledge of HR intricacies and technical details to work very closely with VP of Human Resources – CHRO and Compliance Officer to provide support, consultations, and solutions to business units. Deep understanding of federal and state employment laws and in-depth knowledge of legal technicalities and requirements for employee day to day work responsibilities to ensure regulatory compliance is met. Excellent time/project management to support in the alignment of organizational goals and objectives, standards, culture, and policies. Must be able to liaise across multiple HR functions and people. Sound knowledge of Affirmative Action plans and compliance deadlines. This is a hybrid position and may support multiple businesses and/or locations for employee population of 270.
 

Essential Duties

1.       Assist in the research and development of HR policies for legal compliance, employee relations and organizational development, employee compensation, benefit/retirement programs and other analytical/technical HR programs.
2.       Manage HR programs and plans making sure they align with department and business goals.
3.       Assist in the management of the HR Compliance calendar responsibilities. Calendar is updated as needed and annually by HRVP.
4.       Provide advice, guidance, and recommendations to employees and managers.
5.       Assist and perform compensation evaluations of positions staying abreast of market conditions and changes.
6.       Effectively communicate with the VP of HR for the development and implementation of strategies keeping in view the department and organization’s long-term and short-term goals.
7.       Analyze employee performance metrics, trends, and use the results to update or renovate the existing HR process and strategies.
8.       Properly communicate with the HR team and business to report timely progress of tasks and initiatives.
9.       Assist in overseeing the HR team to ensure compliance with outcomes.
10.    Various annual and/monthly HR submissions (EEO-1, ACA, OSHA reporting, Medicare communications, annual enrollment initiatives).
11.    Partner with HRVP for employee communications, engagement, and diversity management.
12.    Engage in meaningful conflict resolution and employee behavior.
13.    Facilitate investigations in response to employee inquiries with professionalism and tact.
14.    HR administrative employee change notifications.
15.    HR administrative employee tasks such as leaves of absence and payroll notification changes in benefits, loans, tuition, or retirement.
16.    Support and manage incoming/outgoing HR correspondence and requests.
17.    Works with internal and external customers to achieve timely and friendly customer-centered delivery of services.
18.    Other duties as assigned.
