The Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing relationships, identifying customer needs and pain points and providing a variety of solutions using our industry leading software and solutions. The successful Business Development Specialist will attract new business using a variety of marketing techniques to attract potential clients, schedule meetings, identify needs and conduct system demonstrations to offer optimum solutions for the client. Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Develop and execute a strategy for discovering and securing new business opportunities either locally, regionally, or nationally. •Adapt new business strategies in accordance with the types of clients already secured by the company. •Identify, evaluate, and realize quarterly business growth goals. •Represent the company at trade organizations, on committees, and during board meetings, when necessary. •Create a business development database in order to evaluate performance and organize client and prospective client information. •Foster beneficial relationships with business partners, potential clients, and business contacts in order to attract new business and enhance organization reputation. •Solidify new business relationships by developing and negotiating contracts.
